Sourcing of suppliers is one of the main functions of procurement professionals who has to ensure a competitive environment, attract enough suppliers and get the best deals of price, quality, and delivery terms. Sourcing includes activities such as:
market research;
creating and implementing company strategy;
determining qualitative and quantitative indicators and selecting suppliers that match these criteria.
The system provides the following options:
Suppliers network is a complete list of suppliers registered in the system.
Any supplier registered in the system may become a participant of your sourcing event.
The system notifies suppliers of the publication of the relevant sourcing event if it includes categories of goods or services the supplier works in.
<aside> ❗ Attention! A company may use a private catalog of goods and services, and a supplier, however, always provides in its company profile the categories of delivered goods and services from the system catalog. Therefore, the customer should link each category from its private catalog to the corresponding categories in the system catalog, otherwise the notification system will not work properly.
