The system directory of goods and services categories is based on the UNSPSC open catalog.

The directory will help:

• clearly understand the terminology of procurement activity processes all participants;
• analyze the results of the company's procurement activities;
• optimize control.

The Goods and Services Directory is hierarchical. The hierarchy includes category groups and the categories themselves.

After opening the directory, a list of category groups is displayed, which you can navigate through to find the category you need.

Category groups are used in searches.

Categories of goods or services - in sourcing events when completing the Positions block.

Purpose of the Goods and Services Directory

The Customer uses the directory of goods and services to:

• specify categories of goods or services in sourcing events;
• identify categories of goods or services for partner suppliers;
• analyze sourcing events;
• search for needed information.

The Supplier uses the goods and services directory to:

• define a list of categories it works with;
• notify all interested participants of the sourcing events.
